Vendor Storage - Userfriendly SAP

We store equipment at our suppliers, but today we have bad solution in the sap when we are moving items from suppliers -> base onshore -> Offshore. We register the goods in and out manually using 901 and 221.

How this process happens is that the supplier is notified that we need parts, they send them to our base before being shipped offshore.

If we get the supplier to register items in our network, sap will generate Transport order then a delivery, but since there are so many involved, around 20 suppliers, 5 onshore bases and 20 offshore plants, this is not the best solution.

Is there any good method we can use?

Have you looked at the functionallity provided by the SCM SNC (Supply Network Collaboration) solution?

Thanks, I will take a look at the SNC dokumentation and see if this is something we can use.

Maybe its possible to get a test version.

If you can't get a test version we have a demo system running, you can contact me via the SAP profile details. Would it be possible to expand on what the pain points are in the current solution. It could help the forum in suggesting some EPR functionallity or configuration that might improve the process.
