You can manipulate the "Document Date" but you cannot do so for "Created On". So check in change log from VA02 whether any change is made to document date.

If the change log does not show any changes, then Sales order was created with a document date different from Current date... Document date identifies as the date from which order is considered to be effective.. Could be that CSA received the order yesterday and was able to create it only today and manually changed the document date at time of creation??

or you implying that whenever you create a sales order, document date is proposed with yesterday's date?

Thanks Kris,

But the problem is if we create an order today it shows document date as one day before i.e shows yesterday date. Nothing manual changes are done. This is happening for a particular sales order type.

Thank You,

The only other possiblity is that the local user is in timezone later than your system date/time? Like system timezone is australia, while the user is in US/China...

The document date is set in Include FV45KF0V_VBAK-VDATU_VORSCHLAGE (and you can put breakpoint/watchpoint) to validate if it is getting changed elsewhere...Check the document date while in VA01(Go To -> Header) at the time of creation and also the document date after it is created to see if it is different (to validate if there is any user exit changes)
