Hi gurus,

under "4.3 solutionmanager configuration", i got::

The number of Background Work processes for BI could not be checked from 'ABAP Host=xxx, old invalid hostname - source of systemcopy. Please advise, which setting is to update to avoid this message ?

Hi Thomas,

Try the following:

1. Check the if password is correct in Visual Admin Tool -> JCO RFC Provider then the Webadmin one.

2. Check the user definition for BI-user and BI-Admin referring to the following documentation.

https://service.sap.com/diagnostics

-> 'User Administration Guide'

-> Chapter 2.3.5 and 2.3.6

After correcting 1 and 2, please run the 'Managed System Configuration' for the managed system.
