Profit Centre substitution rule not working

We are building a new box/system, and have now got to the PRD box stage. Unfortunately, the substitution rule in PRD does not appear to be working, and when we add a sales order item, it determines profit centre as DUMMY

I have checked the following matches to QAS.....

0KEM - The substitution rule

0KEL - The link to SD

KE52 - The profit centre master data, and that they are active

If I put simulation on, I can see the rule is accessed and that my expected step is true, but it still comes back with dummy.

Are theere any checks I've missed?

Is there anything on the Sub riule side I need to "Activate" in the PRD box?

Any advice appreciated.

Hi,

At time of sales order the profit center can be set by

1. CO account assignment (strongest option)

2. Manual entry

3. PCA substitution

4. Material / plant (weakest option)

So if the sales order has account assignment to say a PA segment which contains PRCTR = dummy then that will get preferance over the value from substitution.
