Connection issue XI to TIBCO

Hi Experts,

XI is not able to connect to the IBCO server and all the channels are in errorr status with the error " Channel error occurred: detailed error description: com.sap.aii.adapter.jms.api.cpnnector.ConnectorException: Error looking up destination:<JNDI Lookup Name> for profile:connectionProfile of channel :<channel name> node:333000 having object id :........... javax.naming.NamingNotFoundException: Name not found::<JNDI Lookup Name> at com.sap.aii.adapter.jms.core.connector.jndiConnectorimpl.createDestination(JndiConnectionimpl.java:168.).........

As part of the troublshooting channel stop/start are done, XI J2EE engine is also restarted, TIBCO server is also restarted still we are facing the error.

Can anybody help us to resolve the issue

Hi,

First try whether you can connect to TIBCO server from XI using OS level command for that purpose you can use Ping (IP) and

then you can try with Telnet (IP) (PORT). For this purpose you can take help of basis team.

If above mentioned runs successfully then you need to check with the adapter.

Hi Abahy,

Network connectivity is already tried and able to ping to TIBCO server. And also never changed any settings in XI communication channel. The problem is exisitng still.

Is there any solution please.

Hi Bhaskar,

It seemss like there is some problem with your adapter.Go to visual admin and restart the adapter and try to stat the channel it will work.

Adapter in Visual Admin is already restarted and all the services related to JMS is restarted. channel status but still i am facing the same issue.

Can any body suggest to rectify the issue.
