AVailability Control Check at PR Level

Hi All

We are implementing Funds Management -BCS in our project. During testing time we observed, Availability control check is working at the time of Purchase order creation only. But as per our requirements AVC check at purchase requisition creation level. Can anybody suggest how to activate AVC check at purchase requisition level.

Hi.

You need to check Budget profile if PR included.

Check filter in Budget Control System (BCS)-Availability Control-Settings for Availability Control Ledger-Define Filter Settings for Commitment/Actual Values if PR(value type=50)is unexcluded.

Also check FM doc, generated from PR

Thanks for the quick support, I have checked the budget profile and other relevant settings and also no exclusions are maintained in Filter Settings for Commitment/Actual Values. Activity group has maintianed as ++. Please suggest is there any speicific setting for AVC control active at PR level. Now AVC is performing at purchase order leve.

'Please suggest is there any speicific setting for AVC control active at PR level'- BADI FMAVC_ENTRY_FILTER and may be FMAVC_DERI_AFMT(but FMAVC_DERI_AFMT impossible to use for value type, may be for user name).

I hope in PR and PO the same account assignments? And PR not statistical?

Thanks for the quick support, now AVC check is working at PR and PO level, we have deselected statistical update check box. Is this correct or not?. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Hi,

There is no right or wrong here: if your requirement is to check budget on PR, then certainly you have to choose option without statistical update on this value type (50).

My client also want AVC at PR level.. I have not defined any thing in filter setting for commitment and actual values..PO level is checked but PR is not checking budget.
