while trying to clear the stock from 999 stg type via LI21 for a WM material

I am getting the error that defiecit of 160 stock for material ABC plant 1000 sloc 001

Data analysed so far:

1) In MMBE there is 0 stock for the material in that sloc and plant

2) In LS26 for that material

storage type 998 with -160 stock

Storage type 999 with 160 stock.

I have further analysed that data and found TR,TO and material document in refer. to the both quant in both storage type but the TO are already confirmed.

There are 2 things I am not able to understand

a SO I am just wondring if both TO are confirmed then how come I have negative stock in 998 storage type.

b) why this deficit of stock error is coming why not system post in stock in IM by movement type 701 on doing LI21

Hi

St Type 998 allows negative stocks and so someone must have moved 160 more than existed from 998

use LT10 to move the 160 in 999 to 998 and this will resolve the issue
