Hi Friends,
We are trying to do the Kernel Upgrade,
Before that we were tried to apply ILE patch, we have applied ILE path successfully.
After that we are not able to execute the options at os level with user SIDOFR & SIDADM.
I mean , we are not able to execute below options:
1. General SAP Tasks
2. Change and Transport System
4. SAP Database
5. SAP Kernel
6. SAP Directories
7. Define or Change SAP
Getting the error " Object R3TASKS in library *LIBL not found. ".
We have done same thing in our sandbox and devolop systems, we have done successfully, getting error in quality.
Can some one pls assist ASAP,
Thanks in Advance.
Sandeep.

Hi,
When I've encountered this problem it was because the version of LODSAPKRN that I used to build the kernel was backlevel. It is somewhat of a chicken and an egg problem. You need the most recent version of LODSAPKRN to create the kernel but the most recent version of LODSAPKRN comes in the kernel your trying to build. If you don't have the latest version of LODSAPKRN which comes in the ILE_TOOLS patch, you can either patch an existing LODSAPKRN or work around the problem by running LODSAPKRN twice. Make sure you have the latest ILE_TOOLS in your parts directory and specified in your parts file then run LODSAPKRN to build your new kernel library. Once your new kernel is built, you can simply use the LODSAPKRN in the new kernel library to rebuild the new kernel library. It's a clunky solution, but it's easy and it works.

Hi,
Most probably the Kernel libraries are damaged.
Please check note 1310133 to reload the libraries.

Hello Sandeep,
this is unfortunately a problem, that sometimes happens. I would open an oss ticket on this with bc-op-as4.
As workaround you can copy the menus (*MENU) from an old kernel to your current kernel and it will work perfectly
