Calculated field is not getting genarated while creating Database views

Hi All ,

I am trying to create Database view for salve repository ,I am sucessfull in it but however the calculated field is not getting created in database Views .

Is this the way views get created .Please let me know this.

Hello Madhu

Value in calculated field depend of calculating expression for that field.

Sap MDM has mechanism for calculating that fields by-fly.

Your database view has that fields are empty or its contain some static values(constant).

hi madhusudan,

The View can only be created based on UNION of two tables.

Based on that union field the data in your fields will get populated.

i m not sure abt what calculated field u r talikng abt.

if that is there in any of your table , u will get data for that field.
