I want to transfer the new Fiscal year variant from ECC Prod to SCM 7.0 Prod. I was able to do this in SCM Dev & QA boxes as Source system for ECC was defined in both systems. However ECC Prod source system is not defined in SCM 7.0 Prod system & BASIS is not willing to open the box and define ECC Prod source system due to some landscape restrictions. Ofcourse they will do in case of no other option.
I understand transporting the table entries is one solution, but i dont want that way as i have already updated the table records in Dev & QA and it will involve lot of manual work.
Just wanted to check if defining the ECC Prod source in SCM Prod is the preferred/standard way or not for transferring Gloabl settings?
