PPDS PLanned order to split daily wise

Hi

I have SNP Planned order which is generated in weekly bucket. The same order I converted in PPDS planned order. The system shows the planned order start date as a first day of SNP bucket.

Is there any way to split the same weekly planned order in daily wise through PPDS heuristics/Optimiser.

Are you doing lot size planning SNP optimizer?

If not, you can use below sol.

1. define max lot size (equal to daily production capacity) in product master

2. Create copy (z*) of Stad SNP to PPDS Heurstics - assign this to PPDS global parameters

3. Modify this Z heuristics - Attribute >> Lot size>> From product master

Second option could using BADI - BADI will read daily production capacity from PPM/PDS and accordingly create order.

Hi Gurvarender,

There are quite a lot of Heuristics that can be used to slip the weekly SNP planned orders to daily Planned Orders.

Please check SAP_PP_004. The Lot Sizing Tab has differnt lot sizing Procedures that can be used.

Copy the SAP_PP_004 heuristics and make the Period Type Days. Use the Heuristic in Production Planning run.
