Hi,
Want to know, when we upload an attachment(file) while creating a Purchase Order (PO), how is the attachment stored? Is the file stored on the server? Or are the file contents stored in binary format?
If the contents are stored in binary format, how can we get the contents in the original format?
Thanks,
Jack
HI Jack
To my knowledge this attachments are stored in the binary language and are stored on the server .
there is a interpreter FM which converts the data again back to normal when we download or open the Documents.

Thanks Nimish.
Can you give me the name of the function module that would convert the attachments from binary to normal? Also what type of attachments will the FM be able to convert? MS office attachments or all types of attachments? Also the documents are stored on the application server or on the Business Document Server and in what path?
Regards,
Jack.
