Once the Contract document is created through the transaction VA41 with the Contract

Start date and Contract end date, the system should always check the contract end date

then only allow the changes through the transaction VA42. The system should not allow

any changes before 3 months from the date of expiry of contract which is maintained as

Contract end date. This is applicable only for Contract :During that time system should give an

error message i.e u201CThis contract cannot be amendedu201D

Hello K Tiru,

Why you /user want to change contract after its been expired.

Thru enhancements , you can also automatically change the " Reason for cancellation " to 6A from 01 " at contract data tab at Header level.

In USEREXIT_SAVE_DOCUMENT_PREPARE, you have to check the table VEDA where you can validate the field for Contract End Date (Field name VENDDAT).
