Change of BusinessPartner-Type

Hi all! I need to change the business partner type (BUT000-TYPE) from person (1) to organization (2) to a huge amount of business partners. Is there a way to do so, although SAP-Help says NO!!

Hi Reinhard,

It is not possible to change the BP Category (person, organization, group - field BUT000-TYPE) once the BP has been created using BAPI_ISUPARTNER_CHANGE nor in FPP2.

So the only way would be to create a different business partner, OR if you already have a customer project for archiving/deleting, you could delete the business partner and create a new one with the correct BP Category...
