Hi,
Do have functionality of configuring the material flow system in normal SAP warehouse. I know its possible in extended warehouse management, however is it possible in normal centralized or decentralized warehouse system.
Regards
It is possible to integrate to some external warehouse systems using WM. The scenario's are described in SAP Help.

Hi,
MFS is only available from SCM EWM 5.0...not ERP WM / DWM
Cheers,
Hein

Hi,
It is possible to integrate TRM and WM to subsystems in both instances.
We have integrated WM with a TRM layer using both TRM tasks and WM transfer orders (as appropriate) with conveyor and sortation systems.
With TRM tasks are communicated to the subsystem and then confirmed back to TRM.
However with the integration to automation the link between system response time, performance and the physical world becomes very important. In each case an MFC layer was present to guarantee no time dependencies were built into the solution and to remove the PLC communication overhead.
With EWM it is possible to remove this MFC level and interface directly with the head PLCs.
Whatever solution you are intending to design you must make sure automation and the process are tightly integrated and as much consideration as possible has gone on understanding timing and dependencies between systems.
Thanks James
