Error during target stack selection in maintenance optimizer

Hi All,

I have maintained all systems correctly in solman system landscape. But when I'm trying to select a target SPS for my ERP installation, maintenance optimizer throws an error:

Internal Error: no process type defined for system

I'm not sure what is missing.

Please help!

Hello,

Usually this issue is due to the selection of product instances in SMSY which are incompatible with other product instances.

I am afraid that there is no generic solution for this, you might need to open a new support message.

Thanks Miguel.

I am able to select source and target stacks. Also, dependent systems like EP are also listed and validated.

Its only when I want a recommended level through automatic selection the error pops up.

Any more inputs please.
