Hi Experts,
We would like to upgrade the current SP level (software component BBPCRM level 600) to a target level (i.e. 800)
1. Here my question is what is the best practice approach when we want to move from existing SP level to the next available.
In this above acitivity we gathered that we need to upgrade it to 4 levels e.g. SAPKUXXXX4 to SAPKUXXXX7 and found about 7000 SAP notes for a component BBPCRM.
1. Do we need to go through all the available notes i.e. 7000?
2. Do we need to check only side-effect notes?
please suggest the right approach in above case.
Maybe out of that notes some of them might have implemented, then how to find out them.
Regards,
Rams.
Hi,
SAP always recommends to apply latest SP stacks. So, I would suggest you to instead of upgrading single component, upgrade the whole stack to n-1 (latest-1). Also, instead of going through these bulk notes, I would recommend you to go through side effect report.
Thanks
Sunny

The best approach is to test it, that's why you (usually) have a three-system landscape. Especially CRM is so complex reading notes is just too theoretical.
