Repeat Configuration after Update

Hello,

I've installed a Solution Manager 7 with EhP 1.

After that I configured the System (Netweaver initial configuration + Solution Manager Initial & Basic Configuration)

in order to use the Maintenance Optimizer.

With the Maintenance Optimizer I patched the System to the newest release.

Regarding the application data I have nothing to loose at this time.

My questions are:

May I restart the Netweaver Initial Configuration? (Is good or bad or it has no effects)

May/Should I re-execute SOLMAN_SETUP with initial+basic configuration?

Hi Tommaso,

When you perfom a upgrade of a Solman System you must re-do the steps shown in the "Overview" tab in transaction "Solman Setup".

The overview tab will show the steps of the initial and the basic configuration that that must be re-performed.

Re executing the Setup is not required if u patch any system.
