AC 10 CUP Entrance?

Former Member

Hi Experts,

I am recently working on GRC10. I just update GRC10 from GRC5.3, but the AE (CUP) Entrance URL: http://<server>:<port>/AE/index.jsp does not working .

It show 404 error:

The requested resource /AE/index.jsp is not available

Details: File [AE/index.jsp] not found in application root of alias [/] of J2EE application [sap.com/com.sap.engine.docs.examples].

what should I do?

SAP NW 7.02 ABAP and Java stack + Portal 7.02

BTW: portal is working smoothly.

Thanks!

Hi,

The URLs have changed, now you require NWBC (or Portal) to access the application. After assigning the required roles you can access the web-based NWBC here:

http://<server>:<port>/nwbc/

Hi,

As Luis mentioned, the URL is changed. GRC AC 10.0 is a totally different product then AC 5.3.

Anyhow, the earlier CUP/AE URL should still work. I am 100% sure that your BASIS team has uninstalled AC 5.3 Java Front-end. We have both AC 10.0 and AC 5.3 running in our landscape currently.

Hi Luis,

I believe we didn't install NWBC on our system.

Should I install NWBC?

James,

AS ABAP has a built-in web based NWBC that you can enable through SICF.

You need to assign the GRC NWBC role to a user, type /nNWBC and click on the NWBC URL. That one you can bookmark then.

Many thanks!

Could anyone tell me where I can setup a LDAP connector?

Usually I setup a LDAP connector under configuration tab in the GRC5.3 CUP,but I couldn't find configuration tab in NWBC.

I have no idea where I can setup a LDAP connector in the GRC10.

Hi,

The configuration is now done using IMG (tcd SPRO)

Oh, look like I am going the wrong way.

Thanks Luis.

Where I can get these user guides about GRC10,so I can learn GRC10 from beginning?

Does SAP release these guides?

Hi,

The official guides are available in https://service.sap.com/instguides

Also some accelerators for 10.0 will be published in the BPX website in the next couple of months.

Hi,

iI Understand GRC 10 is launched through Web based NWBC, and we are doing the same, but when i click on any link it says User menu tree empty in NWBC, i have provided all the GRC roles to the user and activated all the service and BC sets, did i miss something?

Hi Sandeep,

have you assigned SAP_GRC_NWBC as well?

Frank.

Hi Frank,

Yes, i have assigned the role mentioned by you and its working fine, able to see the functionality of 10.0.

Couple of questions :

1. How the connection to the back end system takes place, i understand its done through transaction SPRO, i navigated to common component settings---> integration framework and created connection using RFC, now whats the next step how to assign this connectors to GRC 10.0 to do an Risk Analysis?

2. How we configure the Workflow like what to worked on CUP, what are the process and configuration required?
