I have a requirement for a vendor to be able to enter their capacity to supply against scheduling agreements and have the SNP heuristic plan with that in mind. I know I can enter a capacity at the schedule agreement line level and it works fine. However, I have a vendor that supplies 2 plants against 2 scheduling agreements. They know their overall daily capacity (for example 20000 units). They don't care if it's 10000 to each plant against each scheduling agreement or 15000 to one plant and 5000 to the other. I want the system to propose this based on demand.
Does anyone know how I can enter a vendor's total capacity at a product-vendor location level instead of at a scheduling agreement-product-vendor location level and have the SNP heuristic consider it?
