MM-SUS - Are PO reminder and expedite messges supported?

Hi MM-SUS Gurus,

We are implmenting MM-SUS for ECC-EHP4 and SRM70 EHP1

1 We need to send out reminder and expedite messages for the POs before / past delivery due date to SUS. Is it supported in MM-SUS? Is there any functionality offered in SUS - messages area where supplier can access those messages in SUS?

2. Can supplier edit PO response (PO ack) which was already sent to ECC and change delivery date / quantity etc and resend to ECC from SUS?

it is possible for the system to generate alerts , there is one program available which sends out alerts to the suppliers if they have not replied/responded to purchase orders.

please check in transaction SE38(RSUSALERTS) , search using the wild characters as i dont remember the report name.

you can configure when the system generate alerts in the alert management section of SPRO

2) supplier can not edit the response which was already send out.

Hi Chandra,

1. Yes suppliers can be sent reminders to respond to the POs sent to them in SUS. This can be automated in the system and these reminders will be sent till the supplier responds to the PO.

In PFCG against the role 'Order Processor' / 'Dispatcher', you can go to the SUS attributes and check the various options available there. (This works provided your suppliers have the above mentioned roles)

2. What you have said is only possible if the PO response received from the supplier at first go is cancelled in ECC and the suppliers then sends a new PO response against the same PO. Else it is not supported.
