Hello experts,
I need to configure a solution database for the Service Desk on a client system.
The problem is, that someone did it wrong before or tried this configuration more than one time. But these configurations are not working.
Is there a possibility to delete those old configurations or reset all the settings? I would like to start the configuration wizard from the beginning and I don´t want to have all the old configurations.
I could not find yet the button "delete current solution database" or something similar.
I just want to start in a clear environment.
Any suggestions?

Dear Geraldine,
please try transaction DBACOCKPIT and check table DBCON in Solution Manager. If possible try to delete the wrong database connection in DBACOCKPIT and, if necessary, using transaction SM30 in table DBCON.

A little bit late but, to reset SM configuration you have to delete Solution Manager system from LMDB.
Check SAP Note 2020955 (SOLMAN_SETUP has been reset and is in "grey" status)
