ORA-12549: TNS:operating system resource quota exceeded

Experts,

I am facing rigid issue in my Solution manager production system since a week.

I have been seeing the below error in system logs.

Database error 12549

Database error 12549 at CON

> ORA-12549: TNS:operating system resource quota exceeded

Also whenever i tries to connect a new system using DBACOCKPIT wizard it shows me as below,

SQL error 12549 ORA-12549; TNS operating system resource quota exceeded.

Connection could not be established.

Can someone please get me the solution for this problem.

Hi,

1. Add more physical memory (RAM) to the database server.

2. Increase the temp space on your database server and/or verifying that your temp disk is not full.

3. Decrease your database footprint so that it uses less memory. You may want to decrease the SHARED_POOL_SIZE and DB_CACHE_SIZE initialization parameters
