Stuck TRFC

Hi Experts,

SRM 5

Classic Scenario

R/3 4.6c

We are analysing the stuck TRFCs in our SRM server and have found that they are referring to the following standard FMs -

1. SWF_RUN_REMOTE_SERVICE

2. SALRT_CONFIRM

3. SWW_WI_EXECUTE_INTERNAL_RFC

4. BBP_PDH_WFL_EVENT_CREATE

Is it ok to execute these stuck TRFCs or can we delete them? Please provide inputs on the impact of executing/deleting these stuck TRFCs.

Hi,

You should note delete the tRFc entries. Please execute it. It it gets error again, you need to fix the root cause.

I have 2 follow on questions -

1. What will be the impact if a stuck TRFC is executed and the TRFC refers to a deleted SC?

2. What will be the impact if a stuck TRFC is executed and the TRFC refers to a SC whose follow on documents have been created in the classic scenario?

Hi,

It depends on what king of TRFC entry.

You ned to check why SC is deleted even SC is awaiting approval and why follow-on document is created even SC is not approved. I think executing TRFC entry gives some error in that case.
