R3szchk has zero CPU time after being started several hours

We are exporting an ABAP only BI system.

On the sapinst screen the message bar shows "Running R3szchk..." for hours.

However, the OS level check show:

qasadm 16822 16353 0 06:34:09 ttyp5 0:00 /usr/sap/QAS/SYS/exe/run/R3szchk -p /DUMP/ABAP/DATA -l R3szchkExport.log -s DB -t ora SR3 700 -f /DUMP/

(i.e. 0 CPU time above in bold-faced).

But for sapinst, it has CPU consumed:

I know that R3szchk will never report any progress until it's done. R3szchk also does not report CPU time until it's done?
