SAPRouter String

Hi,

Dear all i have configured saprouter which is working fine,

now i have to connect using saprouter string in sapgui over internet

pls suggest what sap router string i need to put and what entries i have to make in saprouttab

we have public ip 85.xx.xx.xx

and sap DEV server ip 172.xx.xx.xx

pls advise.

Dear Irfan

Please maintain the following entries in your saprouttab then restart the saprouter service.

SAP Routtab Entrires

====================

1. Access from the local Network to SAPNet - R/3 Frontend (OSS)

#

P dev 172.xx.xx.xx 3299

P * 172.xx.xx.xx 3201 password

1. deny all other connections

D * * *

define the router string path in your GUI connection to get access from an outside.

GUI SAP Router string

=====================

/H/85.XX.XX.XX/s/3299/W/password/H/

Web - Gui need to be connect through the VPN.

As far as my knowledge that web-gui has no gui string setting to connect from an outside.

I will invite to other expert to correct me.

I am facing the same issue , not able to connect sap from outside network using sap router string.

could you please advice...

added the below entry in saproutertab

# Access from the local Network to SAP R/3 Frontend (OSS)

saprouter string entry in sap logon pad  /H/saprouterhostnameip/H/

while try to connect from outside network using internet - Getting error not

partner saprouterip:3299 not reached.

from outside not able to ping ipaddress of Saprouter/sapserver. request timeout message.

Sap  is able to logon to our network using the same config, but for others not working.

Please advice..

Dear All,

I have configured the sap router as well as router string and all seems to be working fine.I have given P *** and then able to access through sap router string .

My concern here is i'm not able to access the transactions like dbacokpit or st04 and gets message page cannot be diplayed /.Similarly when use for Solman -LMDB gives the same message .If connect to vpn no issues .I believe i have to configure some paramaters in routtab for this issue but not able to get it.

I appreciate if you all can help me in fixing this issue..
