HCM Process and Forms - Initiator Role

Hi All,

My issue is related to initiator role:

Step 1) Form is initiated by Manager. At this stage with the help of parameter INITIATOR_ROLE , i can read the value of INITIATOR_ROLE . Now the form is submitted by initiator.

Step2) Now the form reached to next person in approval cycle. At this point value in INITIATOR_ROLE is blank. How can i determine the processor role at this step?

Initiator Role is only used when the process is initiated and it is to determine WHO the initiator is: a Manager, Employee, HR Generalist, or XI (these are the standard delivered roles).

You need to setup 'Scenario Steps' in the configuration and pass these steps via WF at the appropriate times throughout the process. The steps will tell you if it's an Initial step, Approval step, Save step (etc...). This is totally configurable but the values must match what is passed via WF.
