sap easy dms / create document screen on the WEB

hi

is it possible to customize or make special screens (configured individually as for characteristcs and values.? We have different departments with deifferent needs.

Also is it possible to add new icons in the explorer - SAP Easy Document Management - for navigating to certain places in the folder structure?

Hi Maplan,

I'm sorry but there is no possibility to add new icons to the EasyDMS icon bar. Because EasyDMS is designed in C++ and delivered as a kind of Add-On to the Windows Explorer. So it is not possible to make such changes for a currently released version.

What I would suggest you is to copy the favorite folders in EasyDMS 'Public Folder' and paste it as a link to your 'Private Folder'. Then you should be able to navigate from your private folder to the favorite folder as fast as possible.

for fav folders you can navigate in easydms and use windows add favorite folder option..next time u can directly go to the particular folder using windows.
