HI,

I have one doubt regarding SSO.

In my company SSO is implemented using common user id so user will get all the tabs eg..ECC, EP, DMS

but when accessing for the first time specific module it ask for password..so is it right? As per my opinion it should not ask for first time also..

Plz tell me the right procedure for SSO...

Hi,

If you have configured SSO properly, then it should not ask for password.

In order to ensure SSO is configured properly, you can refer to http://help.sap.com or refer following post on SDN.

It depends on how you implement SSO. You can use SSO between SAP systems, so when you enter the first system, you can "jump" to other systems without providing a username/password.

You can also implement SSO via the LDAP (using Kerberos), so when a user logs on to his Windows machine, he/she doesn't have to authenticate anymore when accessing the SAP system.

Hope this clarifies it a bit for you...

Kind regards,

It is called single sign on because you log on ONE single time.
