Upload/Download entries in LifeCycle Assignments

Hi All

In SCM5.0 DP, Is there a way to upload or download the entries into/from Life Cycle Planning Assignment table.

My users want to modify(changing/adding/delete) the entries in an excel and then upload them.

Can anyone guide me on this ? I am not familiar with BAPIs.

Hi Venkat,

According to me there is no program in standard which can be used to mass maintain the entries of /sapapo/msdp_fcst2. You can either modify the numbers ready for input in the screen and copy & paste the values or write the entries to the table directly. The table you need to update is /sapapo/dp_fcst2. But this is not easy since you need to obtain the selection GUID.

Though I am still waiting for some help on mass uploading/downloading entries from Life Cycle planning assignment table;

can you tell me when this txn is used Assign Forecast profiles to Selection (/sapapo/msdp_fcst2) ? I never understood about this txn.

I usually run the stat fcst in the batch mode, with a job and selection ID defined in the job itself. Then what is this txn separately, and how its used ?
