Supported CAD-formats in SAP ME 6.0

Hi,

I have seen some notes that SAP ME Test&Repair will be replaced in SAP ME 6.0 with another solution in collaboration with Right Hemisphere.

What will be the supported CAD-formats for viewing in SAP ME 6.0?

Today we use gencad (.CAD) and gencam (.A3P) format with Test & Repair. Will those formats be supported?

Hi Johan,

In SAP ME 6.0, Visual Test and Repair will support the following ECAD file formats:

A3P

GenCAM (IPC 2511)

GenCAD

ODB++

Offspring (IPC 2581)

Embedded Schematics information will be supported in A3P and GenCAM file formats.
