NWDI Local SLD vs. External SLD

I am planning to install the NWDI on our netweaver and the option to setup a local SLD server or select an existing SLD appears. We do not know if we need to connect to the existing SLD and I am wondering if it will be easy or possible to switch from local server to existing server in the future.

Hello Gregory,

any time you intend to change your SLD for the NWDI domain from one server to another, then proceed this way:

Hi,

What is the release of your system? In any case, It is definetly possible to switch from local SLD to a remote SLD in future.

For now, you can select "Configure Local SLD" option and continue the installation.

In case you need a remote SLD in future, you can configure it through SLD Data Supplier node in Visual administrator/ Netweaver Administrator NWA depending on the release of your system.
