Copy Control without items keeping reference

Hi,

I would like to create a contract with reference to quotation but I don't want the items to be copied.

It's possible to configure the Copy Control in order to not copy the items but change the quotation as referenced once the contract has been created?

If you maintain copy control only at header level and remove the item category from copy control then item will not be copied.

But the dis-advantage is - it won't update Document flow.

Yes, but I had the hope that there would be some way of updating the document flow...

If I delete the item on the contract, before saving it, the document flow will be updated but the overall status of the quotation keeps as open and the reference status as Not Referenced.

At least it would be nice to be able to close the quotation status.

Any idea?
