BCUSER logon not possible Error in License Check

I managed to install ABAP Trial version on my another s/m which is also Vista but 32 bit. Installation successfully completed.

Registered http://www.sap.com/minisap page and obtained new License file

Instead of changing just System number in new License File to match already installed License , I deleted old License.

I am unable to login using BCUSER. I see an entry in SAPLIKEY. does anyone know how to correct this problem

I've solved the Problem.

Log on as Client 000 with user: SAP*

Passwort is your initial password

Now you are able to run SLICENSE!!!

Hi,

This problem occurs when cluster has been switched over to another node. and there is a license issue on NODE "B"

OR

Temporary License expired after the initial period of 4 weeks

OR

Haterogeneous system copy performed or System refreshed and after the activity no new license has been installed with new hardware key.

Solution:

Login to system with user SAP*

Tcode : SLICENSE

Delete all permanent licenses and install generated new license

Hi,

When I try to Login to system with user SAP* - I get the errormessage:

"Password logon no longer possible - too many failed attempts."

I tried with Client 000 and password = 'Passwort'.

I have got a A file for importing the license key from las@sap.com.

If anyone had similer problem and found the solution please post it. would be appreciated for the solution.

I logged in as BCUSER and deleted default Trial license. So I have no way to know what the Key and System number was initally. Steps i Followed

1. Deleted default Trial License eventhough it had Validity for 4 weeks

2.Registered at "http://www.sap.com/minisap page." and obtained a new License File by email

3. installed a temporay license. It made System Number = INITIAL_SYSTEM_IDX

4. This Temporary License did not show up when clicking on 'Old Licenses' Button

5. Edited License File receivedby Email and changed System Number = INITIAL_SYSTEM_IDX

6. Clicked on New Licenses Button. & installed

7. I see an entry like this

NSP 004988133X Netweaver_ADA 24.01.2011 25.04.2011 Permanent DEMOSYSTEM INITIAL_SYSTEM_IDX Valid

but I am not able to login using BCUSER.

Hi,

Please Follow the steps below

1. Login Using USER Name = DDIC and Password = 19920706

2. Go to T-Code slicense

3. Click New License Button

4. Click the Install button and give the file you got after applying for License from the link you provide above.

Hi

I am not able to logon using DDIC. I can only logon using SAP. Changed to client 000, still I can logon using only SAP

Tried truncating SAPLIKEY table ,Now system does not contain any licenses.Again re-installed new license, but still same issue.

does this mean i have to reinstall ABAP trial or is there a workaround. Thanks

re-installation went fine, now have temp license installed. able to login with bcuser for now, will attempt to permanent license conversion later using login DDIC as mentioned above & update this thread as solved. Leaving this thread open until then.

I had almost exactly the same issue.

1) I installed 7.02 64-bit ABAP trial (MaxDB).

2) Then i deleted the key in SLICENSE transaction.

3) I requested a SAP 3 months trial License in the "minisap" page.

(Note: I didn't find a "NSP 7.02 MaxDB License" so i used a "NSP 7.02 SQL Server License" and maybe this is the problem.).

4) I installed successfully the NSP 7.02 License (New-License Automatic option).

5) Now i can't access with DDIC or BCUSER. It says "Logon not possible (Error in License Check).
