Hello,
We use Crystal Reports Server 2008.
When I open de Business View Manager, then choose to set up a New Dataconnection, I'm getting an error message box saying "cannot Create Data Explorer" . From there I can't go on and create a data connection.
Pusblishing reports, and scheduling them via e-mail or sending directly to a folder somewhere works fine. I've just began to discover some areas of the BVM. So I can't claim to have skills with BVM.
Why do I get this error message? I have full rights, so does CRS 2008.
Have you ever found a solution to this?
We are currently experiencing this error on our upgraded 4.1 SP5 system.
Also, if we try and open/retrieve an existing DF, we get an "Invalid Pointer" issue.
Reports using the BV/DF/DC still work fine however, but we can't modify the DF anymore or create new DC
