Parameters for Webmethods Receiver application

Hi all,

While connecting back with clients Webmethods system as receiver .Client asked us for the following details to receive messages from PI to his wM applications.Can any body exlain me the significance and where can i find those details in PI.

Parameters:

URL (SAP Connection Alias) - ?

SLD server host name - ?

SLD Server Port - ?

Username -?

Password - ?

Hi,

Provide the Host name and Port name of the PI server...

if you have open the home page of the PI server there you can find the details of the port and host name (full name ..)

pass on the same info to the client.. and appropriate user name and password ( this user name need not be with all roles..you can pass on your user name if that is ok)

Can the URL(SAP alias) be IntegrationEngine URL ?

ex., http://<host>:<port>/sap/xi/type?=entry
