I got feedback from SAP support:

"Message CJ526 is hard-coded as 'Warning' message type"

so... thank you for your efforts. Your feedback will be useful in my other cases,.

Hi,

Not sure but Check tcodes OBA5 or OBMSG. Remember that this is a cross client table and modifying a message can affect other modules using the same message class.

yep, I checked those before.

and CJ option is not included.

Looking forward to hearing more suggestions.

Hi,

Check in tcode SE91. Put message class as CJ and click on display. Modifying the message will be cross client effect. So be careful..

Hope it helps.

I can modify the syntax there, but not behaviour. Or maybe I am wrong here ? I don't want to modify syntax, I want make it from worning to error.

Hi,

I would not recommend doing that since these are system messages. If you are sure that this change wont impact any of the other modules where this message class is being used you can do it.

it is simple case. CJ526 . I want it in error. Nobody will be harmed.

So - you still think it can be done in se91 ?

Hi,

Try the following;

Goto OBMSG, click on new entries and add application area CJ. Then select the application area and double click on messages on rightside. Input new entries with application area as CJ and select message 526.

Here you can set the output type as E for error.

Remember that this a cross-client configuration.

But I don't get my error while testing the result .

maybe I need to recompile something somewhere ?
