Is Microsoft SQL Server 2005 has any commands?

Hi all,

Kindly help me in regarding this issue.

In oracle database we can type the command " BRTOOLS" in RUN--> which will display all the functions, same as that is any command for MS SQl server 2005.

Hi,

SQL Server 2005: Run -> sqlwb

SQL Server 2008: Run -> ssms

HI Sven,

Actually that command is used to start the MS SQL Server, BRTOOLS in oracle where we can view all the data in command prompt screen, like the way i'm asking in MS SQL Server 2005, please kindly do the needful.

Brtools is specific to Oracle DB.

You can use Enterprise Manager for MSSQL

I can't able to find the enterprise manager in my MS Sql server 2005, please help.

Did you install the database using the "sql4sap.vbs" script? This is the recommended way and installs all necessary tools automatically.

HI,

S Sir i have installed the Sql server, using that .vbs file only, please help me what command i can use to view the data as in oracle "BRTOOLS" Command.

Hello Gopinath,

Brtools are exclusively to Oracle databases.

You can use the SQL Server Management Studio.

SQL Server is a different software product, it's from Microsoft and not from Oracle, it's totally different.

So there is no other too as SQL Server Enterprise Manager.

Start - Programs - SQL Server 200x - SQL Server Enterprise Manager.

I highly suggest you get a class on that database if you run a production instance with it.
