How to maintain access sequance for header condition type. there is a requrirement that header condition to be automatic.

Got your question but, try to understand the basic functionality of the pricing conditions and how it works. Then you will come to know about the possibility & requirement of the access sequence to the header condition type.

Hello Satheesh Durgi ,

Thanks for your tip ie, ra01, rb00 and rd00 are header conditons and these settings can me maintained in condition type.

The requirement is trickey client will be disturbuting discounts on multiple materials through a condition type.

Now, there would be max. limit at the condition type level for the same.

Hence, the individual conditon records maintained should have collectively a max limit as maintained at condition type level

irrespective of customers and materials.

Problem solved using header condtion and discount conditon type for pricing procedure.

Hi Ramesh,

sap standard does not allow one to make header condition types based on the access seq.

it is only the item condition types that can be dealt this way.

coming to your question you first please share the real time requiremnt that the client is asking for, so that we can propose the solution accordingly abiding by the sap standards.

Hi Ramesh,

You cannot maintain access sequence to a header condition type. If you want to update the value of this condition type automatically, you only have to use the condition value routines created in VOFM tcode and assigning the same to the header condition type. There is no other way possible.

Actual header conditions are conditions that are are manually entered on the header condition screen.

It is never possible to determine 'actual' header conditions using automatic condition determination (condition access).

In R/3 standard pricing, the automatic condition access occurs only at item level of the document
