Difference between srategy profile and strategy tab in heuristics

Hi,

What is the difference between srategy profile (global settings) and strategy tab in heuristics..

while running heuristic which one will be used for schedulling?

why SAP has provided strategy profile separatly?. as per as i know R/3 inetgration profile in global setings makes sence..but i am not sure why they have provided follwing options( strategy profile) in global settings

1)Interactive Planning

2)Integrated DS Plng Bo

3)Planning Run

Hi Rajesh,

When ever you make any changes in the DS planning board system reads the strategy profile maintained in the PPDS Global settings but you can override it by making changes in the individual heuristics itself, These heuristic specific settings take precedence over the global settings.
