SAP PI 7.1 Installation ABAP import phase error

Hello,

Environment: Oracle 10g, Windows 2008 server, SAP PI 7.10

While installation i am getting error in import ABAP phase. Below is the error in sapinst.log

We installed anothr PI7.1 in same environmetn but on another server and it installed successfully.

Hello,

Does <sid>adm have enough permissions on all directories below

'/tmp/sapinst_instdir' and on the file 'migmon.jar' in the

install-directory ?

It's best to make sure that everything is set to 777 here.

Hi,

Did anyone resolve this yet? I have the same issue but i'm using Oracle 11 because the new Installer is unable to detect 10g anymore. I don't think the JAVA JDK 1.5 is not an issue because it is automatically installed by SAPinst as per guide.

SAPINST clearly says use Java 1.5 on your own risk. Better use JDK 1.4.2 with latest version, and try again from scratch.

I mate the same problem before and got resolved by this.
