SAP Business One course certificate to R3 certificate

Dear All

I did my SAP certification in 2008 and working still in SAP business one as a consultant, though i want to get R3 FICO certification. I can able to study the FICO through books and articles. Can i write the exam directly to SAP and get certification?

Please clarify me

Hello Mr.Asupathy,

I assume you did your certifiication in SAP Business One. Firstly Business one and R/3 are completeley independent and different in all respects except the fact that both applications are offered by SAP AG.

Secondly, for R/3 certification, you need to have domain knowledge to understand the business processes and must have at least 2 years experience with SAP Channel partner or customer who are willing to support you, in which case only exam fee is required. However for a newbie, certification can only be taken after completing training from SAPs' Authorised Training centre. In most Indian citiies, they'll be Siemens and Genovate.
