Changing local currency of the Max. Condition Value within a Sales Deal

Hi Guru's! We have a requirement to be able to change the max.condition value within the "additional data" information of a sales deal. As our customers at times pay in a different currency then the local currency of the company. According to SAP Note #615370 (item G), the maximum condition value currency in a condition record is not freely definable. The system sets the relevant local currency and uses this as the cumulating currency (KONP-KWAEH).

However, I was told by SAP that this can be done via a mod. Does anyone know where I can find the code to accomplish this? Has anyone done this before? Any pitfalls I should be aware of?
