How to restrict posting a confirmation against a speicify ECC PO type

Hi,

System landscape : ECC 6.0 EhP - 4 & SRM 7.0

Classic scenario

We have a requirement of restricting a 'central recepient' from confirming goods for certain PO types & company codes.

How can we restrict this ? Is there any authorization object for this ?

We are not too comfortable to use DOC_CHECK badi for this as it is ideally required that such restrictetd POs should not be displayed to the 'central receiver' upon searching for the POs. We are also thinking of a search help badi, but would rather prefer a solution which can use roles & authroization OR any customizing to achieve this.

Hi Amit,

To the bes of my knowledge, you cannot achieve this with roles and authorizations.

You will need to manage search help or use check badi.
