blackberry and Java webdynpro application

Hi,

Java webdynpro applications running in WAS NW 7.0 SP 13 are working fine in old blackberry devices but not working in latest blackberry OS 6.0.

Please let us know is there any limitation in webdynpro Java or how to over come this problem.

Hi Sudhir,

With BB OS 6.0 RIM has introduced and new version of browser based on Webkit to supports HTML5.

If you check PAM for SAP NetWeaver 7.0 and check the support for Web Browsers you will not be able to find support for Safari Browser which is the main browser on MAC/iPhone/iPad and is also based on Webkit.

Hence you are facing trouble running WebDynpro JAVA Applications on this new version.

I will suggest you raise an SAP OSS to check from which version SAP supports/will support Safari Browser and if you build your and deploy your application using the corresponding NWDS and server it should work fine on BB OS 6.0 browser.
