Language mandatory in Customer

D/ Friends,

While creating Cust A/c group (OVT0), there is no field as u201CLanguage keyu201D in Communication subgroup list to be marked as Suppress, Req. Entry, Opt. Entry or Display. So Language key field could not be marked with any option. But when Iu2019m recording in LSMW, language key is coming as mandatory.

1. Why & from where it is marked as mandatory? How to make it optional in LSMW?

2. Second issue is that in LSMW language key field is mandatory BUT in XD01 it is optional. How come this is possible??!!!

by default the language selection is EN only, if in case you want some other language then you have to select that language as additional.

By SAP it is mandatory in LSMW.

The language assigned in the company code global settings is applicable for all the texts & print documents.
