Hi,

In SCM 220, it is mentioned that macros can be created even for the planning book as a whole, without having any specification for the data view.

Le me please know how can this be achieved.

Guru Charan.

Guru,

Open a Planning book with a view (any view is OK) in /SAPAPO/SDP8B. Once in Design view, Select the MacroBuilder Icon. then, Macrobuilder > Planning book.

Thank you very much.

Can you also please let me know how to transport these macros. Usually, for a dataview specific macros, there will be button on the top for creating the transport request. But how to go about the planning book specific macros?

Guru,

After you have created your macros, back out. You will be returned back to the PB design screen. Save, ensure that the macro checkbox is ticked. You can transport from this screen, or you can now open the newly created/saved macro book in MacroBuilder. /SAPAPO/ADVM You should be able to see the transport button whether the macro book is for a planning book or for a planning book view.

As always, you must have adequate authorizations.....
