TREX based content search in SAP SRM

Hi

We are currently working on SAP SRM 7.0.There is a requirement to provide search functionality for shopping carts and PO.

We ahve implemented TREX search functionality for contract management but not sure regarding possiblity of integrating SAP SRM with TREX to enable this kind of search?

Plz provide your inputs on the same

Hi,

There is customizing option for POWL search. You can set TREX based search for feeder type.

Please check the POWL customizing in IMG. IMG document says follows.

3. Depending on whether you want to use the Embedded Search with TREX or the database search for a criterion, choose either TREX Criteria or DB Criteria in the dialog structure.

Note that the Embedded Search with TREX is only available for the following procurement documents:

Shopping cart

Purchase order

Contract

Confirmation

Therefore, you must only choose TREX Criteria if you have selected a feeder type that refers to one of these procurement documents (see the naming conventions mentioned above).
