Account group in GTS ?

Hello team,

Can anybody tell in business parter data we are having several field. Like in customer master record. So fields in customer master record control by account group. Similarly do we have anything in GTS ? where we can control the field.

Appreciate if you can confirm at the earliest.

Hello Sits,

Please explain WHY you want to see such a grouping in GTS. Then perhaps we can be of more help. Mostly BPs in GTS are just "name & address" records, but - as already pointed out - the "Role" can be used in the Search Helps and some standard functions to ensure that the BP appears in the correct lists.

Hi Sitans,

We can control the fields in a BP role in 'Configure Field Attributes per BP Role'. Search for this in IMG and you can customise as per your requirement.

Thanks for your quick response. But I wanted to know like in R/3 system we can see in customer master record this customer belongs to this group. similary in GTS where we can find ?

Hi Sits,

BP role is the controlling point for the Business Partner in GTS for Ex: If you are creating a BP in the role SLLCOF then only you will be able to select the BP whenever you are looking for a Customs Office.
