Dear Techies,
We have a situation to identify whether the SAP Kernel release of our landscape systems to be 640 or 640_EXT2
The normal method of disp+work or SM51 is not giving any information about this difference, can anybody tell me how to find this out?
Aprreciate your earliest response.
Best Regards,
Viswanathan S
Hello,
you could see it by running "disp+work -V"
kind regards,
Mercedes

Hi,
Could you please tell me how you can say whether it is an 640 or 640_EXT2 with this output.
-
disp+work information
-
kernel release 640
kernel make variant 640_REL
DBMS client library OCI_920
DBSL shared library version 640.00
compiled on HP-UX B.11.23 U ia64 for "hpia64"
compiled for 64 BIT
compilation mode Non-Unicode

As, I already updated that I have checked both with disp+work and SM51 output, but nothing is differentiable.
Appreciate if you could show me with a sample if the disp+work is different for an 640_EXT2 kernel.
Best Regards,
Viswanathan Subramanian
